About The Role

As a UX Designer, you will research and design user interface solutions based on UX principles and user research. You get to work with an experienced and friendly team of 11, working collaboratively to create user journeys, sketches, wireframes and mock-ups. You'll definitely need a passionate advocate for the user, and be keen to deliver great experiences across all digital channels used by millions of our customers.

It'll be your job to conceptualise and design UI/UX mock flows for mobile, tablet and web, including building wireframe prototypes, annotated layouts and requirements documents. You'll also work alongside Product Owners, BAs & Developers, to progressively move from low fidelity wireframes to high fidelity to design concepts more thoroughly

Other key Responsibilities include:

  • Creating UX design proposals and wireframes for mobile apps and websites to promote ideas and concepts to stakeholders

  • Working effectively alongside the designers as part of the UX/UI team to provide rapid support and feedback on tasks involving UI design, UX journey analysis 

  • Carrying out usability studies and provide feedback and reporting to the Head of UX/UI and Senior UX including relevant analysis and data to help facilitate championing of the customer

  • Provide UX consultation services to the UX/UI team on day to day UX design work,  including Projects, BAU tasks & Creative initiatives

  • Review existing suite of products & marketing tools on a regular basis to provide recommendations & proposals for improvements in line with latest UX principles and innovation

You will already have the following:

  • 2+ years' experience working in a design studio or creative agency.

  • Previous experience in the creation of digital products, platforms, Web & Mobile experiences, Mobile applications.

  • Excellent Adobe Photoshop & illustrator skills, able to produce production-ready assets for developers.

  • Understanding of Flash animation, video editing, motion graphics knowledge (after effects) preferable.

  • Good understanding of User Experience, User Centered Design and Responsive Web Design on mobile platforms such as iOS and Android.

  • Ability to create simple, effective, engaging web graphics.

  • Knowledge of printing processes, preparing artwork for printing is beneficial.

  • Skilled in 3D design tools such as 3DS Max, 4D Cinema is advantageous.

  • Good understanding of Brand guidelines & design principles for offline and online media.
