These insightful members of these teams create all the odds that our customers bet on from horse racing, football, rugby, cricket, tennis and many more. There are so many different teams within trading to get involved in from the exciting Live Betting Team that control prices whilst an event is going on to the Trading Performance Team who analyse and optimise our business practices to create the best and safest services for our customers.

We have an excellent opportunity for a detailed oriented and achievement driven person to join one of our teams as Incident Management Operator (Trading Operations). The position calls for a responsible team player with some interest in sport disciplines and basic understanding of rules and current events. Applicants must have a high degree of personal commitment, initiative and willingness to learn with unrestricted flexibility when it comes to working shifts including night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the resolution of all issues, even whilst they sit with external teams;
  • Carry out investigations and initial triage to determine the necessary actions for all incidents raised to Trading;
  • Determine and document the impact and scale of all incidents raised;
  • Ensuring the Head of Trading Control is aware of all key issues and major incidents;
  • Communicating issues, workarounds and downtimes to all relevant stakeholders and managing their expectations accordingly;
  • Recognising patterns within known issues and suggesting solutions to help drive improvement across the trading floor;
  • Providing concise summaries of errors to Heads of relevant Trading teams for performance management purposes;
  • Undertaking Quality Assurance to ensure that we are offering an optimal service to our customers;
  • Reporting any QA issues to the relevant team to ensure speedy resolution;
  • Raising any long-term issues affecting QA to the appropriate development/support team;

Knowledge & Experience & Skills:

  • Excellent English language skills;
  • Solid ability in escalating issues in a concise and quick manner.
  • Strong communication skills (Verbal, written and presentation) 
  • Ability to summarise complex data in a succinct and easy to understand manner
  • Highly motivated and organised
  • Ability to undertake complex tasks quickly and thoroughly
  • Knowledge of major sports will be a great plus.
  • Be able to prioritise under pressure in accordance with the business needs.
  • Attention to detail;
  • Ability to work on shifts, including night shifts;

Desirable:

  • Degree level education would be preferable but is not a pre-requisite
