Purpose of Role: 

Responsible for the management of the payments portfolio including contract management, provider onboarding, management of relationships with external Payment Providers, market and competitor research and analysis.

Key Responsibilities: 

Support the Payments Commercial dept in the development of business cases for new payment providers.
Engage with new and existing Payment Service Providers to manage the contract and commercial negotiations.
Manage the on-boarding/Compliance process with new providers ensuring all documentation is provided in a timely manner.
Liaise with the Product team to ensure commercials and contracts are aligned with product integration timelines.
Liaise with external Payment Providers on a regular basis to ensure we are utilising all features and enhancements to deliver a high performance payment environment. 
Day-to-day management and maintenance of provider accounts including user access, adding new services or removing blacklisted options (currencies, banks, countries), responding to queries and solving any issues.
Manage internal relationships with Country Managers, P&L owners and relevant business stakeholders.
Daily monitoring of payment options to ensure performance is maintained and any issues can be flagged immediately.
Monthly payment reporting to provide insight on payment performance for the senior team.
Compile and analyse data and provide reports on KPIs.
Help to ensure GVC’s cashier and payments function and industry leading.
Working with Treasury and Finance to ensure the necessary bank accounts and currencies are in place and any funding issues are managed efficiently.

Building of successful relationships throughout the company across all functions and jurisdictions, communicate complex information to all levels across the business.
Ability to clearly communication scope and timelines of one’s products and features, set expectations, deliver possibly difficult messages to colleagues and the business, without being impacted by any political influence.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

Proven payments in online gaming experience. Knowledge of payment gateways, acquiring, direct and aggregated solutions.
Understanding of the payments industry from a business, technical and commercial standpoint
Understanding of business profitability drivers within the merchant acquiring/accepting sector
A broad and comprehensive understanding is required of the technical area as well as a good understanding of product development processes and concepts 
Experience in agile development methodologies like scrum is needed.
General understanding of software development processes are essential
Proven people management skills and the ability to direct teams in remote locations
Good communication, organizational, cross-team leadership, teamwork, interpersonal skills and multi-cultural diversity are essential
Data-driven and detail-orientated with good analytical, problem-solving skills
Ability to present business and technical issues (small or large audiences), ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats 
Proven ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams and to internalize new processes and developments in a highly dynamic industry
Basic project management skills
Good understanding of other functional areas in the business such as finance, marketing, legal, sales.
Bachelor or MBA degree

Technical experience with an understanding of client, web technologies and other channels
Functional specification development in different tools (Word, Visio,…)
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint and project
Online/Offline payments industry experience
