Purpose of the role:

The SEO associate will be responsible for the execution of the SEO strategy and coordination of SEO activities for partypoker web properties and assets across all target countries.

Working alongside the SEO manager and specialist to drive growth from organic search, the SEO associate will manage the execution of partypoker’s organic search strategy and perform key SEO functions, such as: site technical and content audits, on-page optimisation, keyword research, link building, app optimisation, search data analysis, content gaps, reporting, etc.

Key Responsiblities:
 
  • Coordinate and implement on/off-site SEO strategies and related activities to improve partypoker’s organic search visibility and revenue across all target markets
  • Perform on/off-page/technical SEO audits, competitor analysis and identify areas for improvement
  • Execute and support SEO strategies/activities including, but not limited:
  •  Keyword research and development of organic keyword lists
  •  Content optimisation and ideation
  •  Backlinks acquisition
  •  Mobile first optimisation
  •  Appstore optimisation
  •  Page speed optimisation
  •  YouTube optimisation
  •  Site architecture and internal linking
  •  Site Migrations, launches, upgrades
  •  Crawling and Indexing AngularJS websites
  •  Meta tags, image optimisation
  • Recommend new SEO techniques/tactics in line with search engine latest updates and market changes
  • Coordinate the implementation of SEO recommendations and enhancement projects with marketing, product, site development and conversion optimisation teams
  • Coordinate and report on link building activities
  • Benchmark industry and similar sites’ technical and content implementations
  • Identify new content opportunities
  • Monitor, analyse and report on partypoker organic performance, including rankings, traffic, conversions, engagement (etc.) on a regular basis.
  • Assist with Content/SEO Market intelligence and monitor the gaming sector in order to adapt to trends and changes
  • Coordinate campaigns with the SEO agencies and central SEO team
Additional Information

Specialist skills and experience

 
  • Good understanding of search engine success factors, algorithms, SEO best practices, industry trends and threats
  • Experience coordinating and executing international SEO activities
  • Experience using industry standard SEO tools (i.e.: Screaming Frog, DeepCrawl, Sitebulb, Google Search Console, Google analytics, SEMrush, Brightedge, Ahrefs etc.)
  • Knowledge of link building/tactics with previous hands-on experience.
  • Experience in SEO campaigns, analysis and reporting
  • Understanding of the technical side of SEO, ideally with some technical SEO experience (including optimisation and implementation of robots.txt files, XML sitemaps, canonical tags, hreflang tags, etc.)
  • Good analytics and problem-solving skills with a good knowledge of excel
  • Ability to work towards targets/KPIs
  • Experience working in large organisations, coordinating and liaising with multiple departments and stakeholders involved in SEO activities
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS
  • Experience using CMS
  • Previous experience in SEO (on/off-site) necessary
  • Fluency in a second/third language
