About The Role
Within GVC’s Central Reporting team you will be part of a team of analysts driving high-profile strategic and operational initiatives, delivering insights, reports, and making recommendations for short and long-term decisions across ALL our Digital businesses and brands.


This will require you to understand user requirements, query the data warehouse (as well as other sources) to extract and prepare behavioural and transactional datasets in preparation for reporting. You will work with large data sets, identifying data patterns and trends and create visualisations using Tableau. You will also be required to build or maintain data sources on our Tableau server.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Translate business requirements into meaningful KPIs and standardise reports in order to monitor and drive the business
  • Collect, organise, analyse, interpret and visualise data using SQL and Tableau
  • Prepare data sets for insight analysts and quantitative analysts by querying the data warehouse or using reporting resources available
  • Identify and implement ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality
  • Build, maintain and optimise data sources on Tableau
  • Support with Tableau site administration and governance
  • Always remain up to date with developments and best practices in Tableau to ensure performance optimisation of dashboards and data sources
  • Liaise with data warehouse on data requirements from business
  • Work closely with the data teams to understand and utilise the company’s data. Recommend changes and identify external data sources to support or improve timely production and delivery of accurate analysis and reports


  • Experience and proficiency in the use of SQL or similar languages (such as python)
  • Experience and proficiency in reporting tools Tableau or PowerBI
  • Must have a mathematical background or have worked in an analytical role previously
  • Logical approach to problem solving
  • Ability to understand complex multi-level data and make recommendations
  • Self-driven investigative skills (knows tools, knows how to use them when and how to create a certain result), high maturity level in self (time) management
  • Ability to turn complex concepts and business questions into actionable recommendations.
  • An ability to deliver high quality work under pressure of tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Familiarity with eGaming KPIs, terminology and business model is an advantage
