About The Role
Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

To contribute in achieving the highest standard of food production for the Stadium, while meeting customer expectations, health and safety requirements and financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work with the Kitchen team to deliver high quality restaurant meals and fast food whilst keeping in line with the agreed budget;
  • To ensure orders are read and food prepared according to the time scales provided;
  • To ensure cleaning rotas are adhered to throughout the food production;
  • To ensure effective stock and wastage control;
  • To keep up to date with latest trends in the foodservice industry and work with the team to introduce new ideas;
  • To carry out any reasonable requests made by the Assistant Head Chef or Head Chef.
Health & Safety and Compliance Responsibilities:  
  • Ensure that all equipment in the kitchen area is working safely and is compliant with manufacturer’s guidelines for operation, reporting any concerns to the Bar & Catering Manager;
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are safe and report any concerns to the Bar & Catering Manager or Safety & Compliance Officer;
  • To keep up to date with and implement food hygiene regulations;
  • Be a qualified fire warden and/or first aider on behalf of the organisation.
Additional Information
  • You are required to follow the Work Instruction Notices (WIN), or Stadia Operating Procedures (SOP) that are relevant to your role. These can be found on the company Intranet.
  • The company may also communicate ad hoc notifications through line managers and notices boards - these will also form a part of your health and safety responsibilities.
Qualifications and Training Requirements:
  • Qualifications in food hygiene
  • Catering qualification, for example BTEC HND in professional cookery or equivalent
  • “A” Level or similar vocational standard
Specialist Skills and Experience:
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience in a high volume catering environment
