As Poker Fraud Associate your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Observe customer gaming behaviour and betting patterns to spot fraudulent trends;
  • Analyse account activity and history to determine potential suspicious dealings
  • Perform detailed reviews of hand histories and identify potential collusion or financial fraud
  • Review customer transactions and gameplay to prevent fraudulent actions
  • Identify potential abuse of promotional or bonus campaigns that result in unfair customer gains
  • Handle system alerts highlighting potential collusion, account sharing, and account hacking and third party software usage
  • Detect and correctly identify breaches in our fairness standards
  • Report fraudulent findings and maintain high security levels for the business
  • Monitor live tools, which highlight potential poker related fraud activities
  • Assess the severity of the breach and impact of the actions on the business
  • Take appropriate measures according to internal process requirements and compliance procedures - which may lead to account closure, limitation for particular game types, follow up actions e.g. send warnings, etc.
  • Interact directly with customers conducting phone interviews with poker related questions to identify possible fraudulent activities.
  • Address poker fraud issues with clients over other means of communication f.e. e-mail.

As Poker Fraud Associate, your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Experience in the Risk division (6 months+) or in Customer Service (1 year+)
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge and comprehension of poker gameplay
  • Ability to identify subtle fraud and abuse patterns
  • Excellent understanding of online poker community
  • Sound and demonstrable experience with fraud analysis and investigations
  • Ability to work efficiently with people at all levels
  • Ability to perform well under tight deadlines within a dynamic environment
  • Good Analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Fluency in English language
  • Fluency in another Company supported languages will be considered a plus
