About The Role

Join the team of GVC Risk experts. they work in a fast paced dynamic industry, having the opportunity to look and analyse new trends and help in building the Risk management controls. Most importantly working in an exciting company across the whole group.

You will use the database to analyse risk trends, review the Fraud settings and monitor ongoing projects.

Responsibilities 

  • Accountable for the identification and active management of risks associated with online marketing fraud alongside compliance and assurance reviews of activity to identify abuse of the business opportunity offered
  • To perform game monitoring and analysis
  • To observe users’ betting behaviour and analyse non-typical betting patterns and trends
  • Rapidly identify and mitigate suspected fraudulent activities and report to security staff of the suspected gameplay
  • To maintain familiarity with the games at a facility and betting strategies and techniques applied in those games
  • To monitor staff on duty and assess equipment integrity status
  • To report any abnormal issues or situations to Head of Fraud and Risk
  • Deliver policies, proactive procedures and working practices to profile and identify business activity that is being targeted by fraud
  • Conduct monthly financial performance reviews to identify areas of loss, communicating recommendations and the remedial action required to Head of Risk
  • Preventing abuse of bonuses
  • Running daily reports to protect the business from technical issues and abuse
  • Providing deep Risk analysis on different issues requested by Head of Risk
  • Sign offs with on-going monitoring on marketing bonus campaigns
  • Provide Responsible Gaming reviews of customer accounts and ensuring operational teams and the business are protected
  • Review of conversion activity and acceptance rates

Skills:

  • At least 3 Year experience in Risk/Online Gambling
  • Sound knowledge of the different aspects of Risk work including Online Payments or Financial Services knowledge
  • Ability to identify subtle fraud and abuse patterns
  • Sound and demonstrable experience with fraud analysis and investigations
  • Ability to work efficiently with people at all levels
  • Excellent Knowledge in MS Office, SQL Tools and MS Excel in particular
  • Excellent ability the review reports in an analytical manner
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
  • Fluency in the English language, with any other Company supported languages
  • Ability to distinguish and use an apt style to handle teams/individuals
  • Some experience of managing 3rd party suppliers
