About The Role

The HR Advisor acts as advisor to employees and managers within the Vienna office on all HR related matters, mainly around basic employment law questions, performance and capability related topics..  The HR Advisor will support the Sr. HRBP with the implementation of global initiatives and act as an HR allrounder for all local initiatives.

He/she will be reporting to the Sr. HR Business Partner. The HR Advisor will promote a best practice environment to support the business with growth and employee engagement, will provide best practice HR guidance and advice across the range of HR disciplines in alignment with the People Plan and Business Strategy.

Your arena:
  • Ensures that the human resources policies and procedures are fit for purpose and well communicated.
  • Provides advice on basic HR related matters, ensuring adherence to all legal and best practice obligations including employment law, employee relations, disciplinary and grievances, performance management, change management/restructuring and absence management
  • Supports managers with the effective and efficient performance management of their teams, identifying and facilitating appropriate interventions through the performance management processes
  • Supports the HR Business Partner and the line managers in achieving engagement targets and managing employee engagement through listening to colleagues and effective action planning following survey results
  • Assist the L&D department and HRBP to design and deliver development workshops to enhance knowledge and skills within the business.
  • Supports the HR Business Partner to drive people related change whilst building effective working relationships at all levels of the business
  • Supports the HR Business Partners in succession planning, people plan, the roll out of key initiatives, helps with analyzing turnover rates, absences, employee relations and L&D needs.
  • Holds exit interviews with all leavers for insight into leave reasons and to ensure the exit survey is completed
  • Supports HR Business Partner on restructures or exits including producing paperwork, liaising with the Company Lawyers, taking part in consultations.
  • Aligning with Reward to ensure that roles are benchmarked, harmonized where appropriate and supporting the implementation of global Reward initiatives such as bonus, ASR, and benefits.
  • Work closely with the HR Operations team to ensure all employee changes are dealt with in a timely manner, this can include salary increases, role changes or line management.
Your entrance ticket:
  • MA with focus Human Resources Management or Business Management
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR advisory role with exposure to resourcing, reward, L&D and change management
  • Good knowledge of Austrian Labor Law and regulations
  • Excellent Excel and PPT skills as well as experience of interpreting data and applying relevant interventions
  • Good understand of online marketing and social media
  • Fluent English and German, excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Experience of harmonization on T&C’s of employment including benefits
  • Strong work ethics, able to handle confidential information sensitively and with integrity
  • Track record of delivering to tight timescales
  • Ability to work independently, with resilience and the ability to self-motivate
  • Ability to quickly identify and understand the key drivers of the business function


  • Previous experience of working in a multi-national company
