The CRM Promotions and Planning Manager will be directly responsible for creating and deploying new promotions, managing the promotions calendar, and managing the poker promotional budget.


You will work with the Marketing leadership team to define the promotional calendar on a rolling three-month basis. The promotional calendar will focus on engaging players, supporting acquisition activity, supporting poker events, and supporting the product roadmap.

You will work with the CRM Production Manager to ensure that all promotional are delivered flawlessly and in a timely manner, and work with MarComms to ensure that the quality of communication assets is high quality and fit-for-purpose. 

Your aim is to increase customer engagement via exciting promotional campaigns. You will be measured on your ability to impact top-line KPIs; your main objectives are to reduce churn, increase conversion rates, improve customer satisfaction and increase overall player lifetime value.

You will manage a small team of Campaign Managers. 

Ultimately, you should lead by setting a good example and engage the rest of the CRM department to achieve partypoker’s goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and action poker promotional strategy aimed at engagement of existing players’ base and welcoming newly acquired players.
  • Design, schedule, implement and review CRM promotional activity on a 12 month rolling basis.
  • Plan, forecast and manage an multi-million dollar CRM budget.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs across a comprehensive set of performance metrics.
  • Manage a team of talented CRM professionals working across several licenced jurisdiction, liquidity pools, and other markets.
  • Follow and report on competitor activity within the area of online poker.
  • Act as a figurehead for providing CRM expertise to non-CRM functions across the business.
  • Ensure all activities are carried out on-brand and to a high standard, whilst maintaining partypoker’s high standards for fairness and integrity.

Additional Information

Requirements (Essential):

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of online poker and the online poker industry.
  • An excellent understanding of Customer Relationship Management theory and practise.
  • Extensive experience in CRM tools and techniques (three years minimum)
  • Strong knowledge of communications and web technology
  • Proven ability to take ownership of all aspects of a promotion from a conception to completion.
  • Ability and flexibility to work well under tight deadlines and multi-task.
  • Relevant people management experience.
  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to tailor communications to varied audiences.
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to foster good working relationships.
  • Analysis skills with experience of split testing.
  • Innovative and creative thinker.
  • Team player, able to work with multiple business units to achieve objectives
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal, written and presentational)
  • Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills
  • Drive: proactive self-starter who doesn’t take ‘no’ for an answer and can work through organisational obstacles.
  • Proven decision-making ability
  • Resilient, proactive and independent, and able to identify and solve issues proactively
  • Experience with campaign journeys and programmes
  • Highly creative with excellent attention to detail
  •  A proven record of delivering against targets 
Requirements (Desirable):
  • Qualifications and/or equivalent experience in general marketing.
  • Familiarity with Optimove
  • Understanding of online casino and online sports betting
  • Familiarity with the partypoker product and offering
  • Copywriting and / or design experience
  • Knowledge of the product development process.
  • Previous senior position in a fast moving CRM team.
