Purpose of Role 
 
The main purpose of this role is to support Director of Regulatory in relation to regulatory risk matters, in particular by means of management of legal opinions from external legal counsel and supporting the business in its dealings with third party suppliers in this regard. 
 
Key Responsibilities 
 
  • Responsible for management of external legal opinions relating to regulatory risks;
  • Supports Director of Regulatory Affairs in connection with the Group’s regulatory risk strategy;
  • Supports the business in its dealings with third party suppliers in connection with assessment of regulatory risk.
  • Supports management of the ongoing relationships with a portfolio of external regulatory advisors.
Specialist skills and experience 
 

Essential:

  • Qualified lawyer (PQE of 1 to 3 years).
  • Knowledge of the existing regulatory framework in the European as well as non-European gambling markets;
  • Experience with legal matters associated with highly regulated markets;
  • Strong communication as well as interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to influence a wide-ranging group of stakeholders;
  • Ability to work closely with colleagues from other teams in all locations to deliver results as a team;
  • Fluent in at least one foreign language.
