About The Role

The Affiliate Manager has the responsibility of driving the digital performance of the affiliate marketing channel for partypoker contributing to the growth of the active/retained player database for the brand.

The Affiliate Manager is a strategic and inspiring leader that provides direction to the team; creating and embedding a business culture where continuous improvement is initiated and embraced.  This person is responsible for strategic planning, overseeing the department’s global results and reporting to higher management.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Accountable for the strategy, planning and delivery of affiliate marketing channel for partypoker
  • Responsible for building and managing in-house team to deliver the affiliate marketing strategy, including bidding and cost management, forecasting and planning, creative execution and placement.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all promotional materials are compliant, appropriate and competitive at all times; responsible for due diligence on affiliate partners to ensure full compliance with AML and KYC guidelines; responsible for strict adherence to advertising standards and online CAP codes and for working with compliance and legal teams to evolve guidelines and working practices to ensure compliance.
  • Propose spend, CPA and ROI targets by affiliate each month as part of the overall marketing mix and complete weekly and monthly reports highlighting performance vs target, actions to address under/over performance and recommendations for following month(s).
  • Work closely with optimisation and digital acquisition teams to optimise visit-deposit funnel performance implement initiatives to improve overall user experience and generate a positive ROI.
  • Responsible for creative and offer/promotion strategy used in the affiliate channel (in conjunction with paid media team) to optimise performance by channel.
  • Proactively identify market and strategic opportunities across the affiliate market to drive increased value from new and existing customers (including exploring and testing new affiliates).
  • Responsible for managing the payment process for all affiliates, cross brands, which includes conducting a full review of the monthly commission calculation, comparing calculations to previous months and conducting fraud detection tests
  • Responsible for managing budgets for various affiliate channels, including budget control, defining the acquisition strategy for all affiliate programs and controlling the CPA.
  • Managing and maintaining all on going campaigns, accountable for growth of existing accounts in order to achieve higher volume of players and an improved return on investment, tracking campaign results.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all affiliate activity is sufficiently monitored, tracked and evaluated using the internal affiliate tracking tool and internal analytical reports in order to monitor ROI.
  • Lead the Interactive presence at Affiliate marketing forums, conventions and events, including strong attendance at relevant conferences and participation on affiliate related forums, oversee affiliate gifting and other relevant preparations.
Additional Information

Specialist skills and experience

  • At least 5 years’ experience with gaming affiliate management
  • Significant hands-on and strategic online poker experience
  • Results orientated individual with focus on delivery, agility and control
  • Proven analytical capability with a deep understanding of BI/data analytics
  • Strong understanding of digital advertising legislation and codes of practice
  • Outstanding management, organisational and leadership skills
