As the Web Analytics Lead for Europe you will be responsible to bring the Web Analytics area to the next level. With your experience you are defining together with the technical experts what the future set up needs to look like to create actionable insights and driving UX development for all our Sport brands.

For this, you are the voice of one of the biggest areas in the GVC group when it comes to drive business requirements with our product teams, enroll best practice in web analysis and insight creation to improve UX.

You will provide standard reporting, dashboards and ad hoc analysis to our marketeers and senior management.

Your role also supports with reporting, analysis, insights and recommendation to help understand site navigation and funnel conversions and driving any site optimization efforts.

Additionally, you’ll conduct user acceptance testing for ensuring that the tracking solution implementation is responding to marketing needs.

Your Arena:

  • Act as key stakeholder in all web analytics related projects
  • Act as a key contact person for all web analytics related requests within the marketing department
  • Design, create and automate dashboards and reports as well as meaningful Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) at all levels, including executive summaries and detailed channel performance reports
  • Regularly conduct checks to verify the data quality and integrity
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis and recommend solution scenarios that convince key decision makers of business benefits
  • Perform joint data analysis with web analytics data & transaction data from DWH
Additional Information

Your entrance ticket:

  • 5+ years of experience with Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
  • 5+ years of experience working in a position focused on web analytics
  • In-depth web analysis skills together with comprehensive knowledge about Online Marketing, Mobile Marketing, web and mobile applications.
  • Process orientation with solid foundation in data analysis
  • Problem solving skills paired with analytic capabilities to provide insights
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Self-driven personality who wants to drive change through the organization
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience with SQL is a plus
  • Experience with Google Tag Manager or other tag manager solutions is a plus
  • Experience with Python is a plus
