About The Role

Role Purpose

The Promotions Executive will be responsible for the daily co-ordination of all promotional campaigns across sports, as well as providing the operational resource for effective roll-out of our promotional strategy.

The Promotions Executive will work closely with the Promotions Manager and Head of Promotions to ensure that there is an effective roll out of our promotional plan to Ladbrokes customers.

The Promotions Executive role sits within the brand team and reports into the Promotions Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the operational execution of our promotional strategy to the Ladbrokes’ customer base to drive increased actives, turnover and NGR
  • Accountable for JIRA briefing of all creative and copy requirements for Ladbrokes’ promotional campaigns
  • Co-ordinate weekly and monthly marketing initiatives working alongside the Promotions Manager to ensure key targets and promotions are rolled out effectively
  • Liaise with Ladbrokes’ trading department to ensure customers have attractive offers driving actives as well as ROI for the business
  • Manage the creative/tracking process for onsite and CRM communications to ensure all creative is on brand and can drive new and existing customers to bet with Ladbrokes
  • Assist the Promotions Manager in the monthly reporting process and bringing together materials for brand summary reports
  • Collate campaign results and prepare presentations which can be used in the quarterly reviews with our key partners
  • Liaise with the Customer Support team to ensure promotional transparency and effectiveness across the business; ensure that all promotional activity is communicated in advance, quality assured and does not drive excessive customer contact on chat/phone/e-mail
  • Ensure that the promotional plan fully supports the Ladbrokes Responsible Gambling agenda and is compliant with all advertising, legislative and licencing conditions at all times
  • Work with the IMS, Openbet and other systems to ensure a consistent approach is taken across the business and all promotional offers trigger correctly ensuing customers get the desired bonus for each offer
  • Working closing with internal departments such as content and real-time CRM to ensure proposition and promotional content is executed correctly.
  • Optimising the customer journey working along side the CX Manager to ensure customers are presented with a frictionless journey.
 
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
  • Educated to a degree level in marketing or a related discipline beneficial but not essential
 
Specialist Skills and Experience Required
  • Previous experience in a marketing role within the gaming industry is beneficial
  • Previous experience with OpenBet beneficial but not essential
  • Knowledge and passion for sport – especially horse racing and football, beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and in a pressurized environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Must possess exceptional analytical skills
  • Strong organisational skills and experience of balancing multiple projects at once
  • Strong project management skill
  • Ability to communicate well with people at all levels of the business and develop strong working relationships with internal and 3rd party service providers
