Purpose Of Role 
To deliver advanced insight and value added analysis to the division which drives profitability. To build strong relationships with key divisional contacts and support the operations to deliver their plans. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Key role in the Financial Planning and Analysis team providing analysis and reporting that will drive business decisions 
  • Support the quarterly planning and forecasting activities of the business 
  • Ownership of business partnering for the Numbers product (Lottery, Bingo & Virtuals), including producing weekly report slides for review meeting 
  • Ensure that you are commercially aware of all key trends and activities within Numbers
  • Support the FP&A Manager on business partnering for the Football product, including ownership of weekly pricing competitor analysis
  • Prepare weekly and period KPI reporting including relevant and insightful commentary and ensuring it is accurate and delivered according to deadlines 
  • Take responsibility for challenging and improving the quality of current reporting and ensure that all KPI reporting is focused and relevant 
  • Support ad-hoc analysis in conjunction with key stakeholders to understand key drivers and any financial impacts 
  • Provide analytical support on key business decisions, including new business initiatives and appraisal of projects 
  • Build good working relationships with key contacts in order to understand the business and the business needs 
  • Work with the wider FP&A team regarding financial reporting requirements/improvements

Key Skills & Education
  • Finance Qualification – ACCA, ACA, CIMA 
  • Experience of planning, forecasting and delivery of insight through analysis 
  • Knowledge of financial modelling and analytical techniques 
  • Strong level of Excel skills, PowerPoint and Word 
  • Experience with reporting and database systems 
  • Ability to manage and manipulate large volumes of data 
  • Proven track record of delivering quantifiable benefits to businesses 
  • Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills 
  • Demonstrable commercial awareness 
  • Results driven, can work at fast pace whilst ensuring accuracy.
  • Has the ability to take ownership of an area and drive improvement
