GVC Digital Marketing is looking for a Business Analyst who is passionate on data driven marketing within our sports brands entity. In this role you are responsible to discuss, understand and coordinate the execution of the data business requirements with a variety of stakeholders around the globe to push our marketing into a personalized experience within all our touch points.

Your main goal is to develop and drive our Customer DNA project throughout the organization which involves business requirements engineering, process and data flow documentation and the coordination between business and tech units within our organization.

Your arena:

  • Discussing new requirements and roadmap items with CRM, Acquisition and other business stakeholders to understand and develop our Customer DNA roadmap.
  • Defining detailed functional and technical requirements by creating feature specifications and user stories.
  • You make sure business requirements are translated to the backlog by “user stories” (what is needed, for whom and why).
  • Participate in meetings ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones, following proper escalation paths and managing internal relationships.
  • Documentation, User Acceptance Testing and implementation
  • Providing review and sign off of project business analysis requirements
  • Carry out ad hoc investigations for data related queries from multiple stakeholders
  • Coordination, consolidation and alignment of requirements for different markets and labels.
  • Ensure timely escalation of issues and risks to the Project Manager and Initiative Owner ensuring robust risk mitigation strategies
  • Leading the implementation of data solutions from early investigation and estimation until launch to production.
  • Work closely with other product owners in Data Warehouse, CRM and the business to achieve the best overall results
  • Working closely together with a number of teams in a large-scale agile environment; managing dependencies between numerous teams and their deliverables.


Additional Information

Your entrance ticket:

  • 5+ years experience in Business Analysis and project coordination
  • Previous experience in an online gaming / gambling /digital/e-Commerce environment would be highly advantageous
  • Experience in a Business Intelligence or similar team is beneficial
  • Experience in delivering multiple projects / tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical skills and able to perform detailed data and coverage analysis
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail to help drive business decisions
  • You are an excellent problem analyser and you have the ability to come with optimal solutions
  • You are comfortable working in in an international context, within virtual teams and can interact easily with international stakeholders
  • Proficient with SQL
  • Understanding of Database Schemas
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience of working using agile and waterfall methodologies
