About The Role
  • Shaping and Manging the geospatial and geodemographic analysis and reporting for our UK Digital Sports Brands – working closely with internal stakeholders
  • Experiment design and post experiment analysis
  • Be a champion for analysis and data for Geodemographics and Geospatial Analytics across the UK Sports Brands business, utilising key models and analytic tools available
  • Work directly with Marketing and CRM teams to delivery increased performance of our gaming CRM activities
  • Work alongside the wider Analytics team to share best practice and grow
  • Look to expand Geodemographic and geo Special analytics beyond the UK businesses, across other Regions
  • Work with the BI team in Hyderabad, India to specify future requirements
  • Identify how Geodemographics and geospatial can help improve our digital and out of home marketing strategy
  • Collect data from various sources to populate geographical databases
  • Performing data analysis
  • Presenting data through electronic methods, for example QGIS
  • Geocoding – entering precise locations into a single database to create maps
  • Designing, programming or modelling GIS procedures
  • Testing GIS models
  • Conducting feasibility and cost assessments for projects


  • Strong SQL skills
  • Competent user of QGIS geospatial tool
  • Understanding of GIS technology and spatial analysis
  • Good knowledge of Geodemographic and Geospatial approaches and techniques
  • Familiarity of external sources for include for example, Experian Mosaic, ONS data, ASHE Income Estimates by Age, Census data, MSOA England and Wales Income Estimates
  • Experience using Excel at a medium to advanced level
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in quantitative sciences
  • Although applications without gaming experience will be considered, previous knowledge of the sector would be beneficial
  • Business standard use of the English language
  • Experience in working closely with stakeholders, understanding their needs, and present insights and solutions in an informative way
  • Comfortable cleaning, joining and preparing data from large data sets
  • Personable expert who can work comfortably with our BI and Marketing teams, understanding campaign activities plus the data and decisions behind them
  • Excellent analytical skills and a proven track record of driving change through business intelligence
  • Capability to identify and solve problems when dealing with multiple tasks for different teams when working to a deadline
  • Target and goal orientated individual with an ability to work under pressure and independently
