About The Role
As an acquisition analyst for Europe you will be responsible to bring the acquisition analytics area to the next level. With your experience you are defining together with the technical experts what the future set up needs to look like to create actionable insights for all our Sport brands.

 

For this, you are the voice of one of the biggest areas in the GVC group when it comes to drive business requirements with our product teams, enrol best practice in web analysis and insight creation to improve UX.

You will provide standard reporting, dashboards and ad hoc analysis to our marketeers and senior management.

Your role also supports with reporting, analysis, insights and recommendation to help understand site navigation and funnel conversions and driving any site optimization efforts.

Additionally, you’ll conduct user acceptance testing for ensuring that the tracking solution implementation is responding to marketing needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of each digital acquisition channel, based on agreed KPIs
  • Measure the impact of each channel on the user’s final conversion step
  • Applying appropriate analysis on the digital campaigns delivery and help towards achieving the label’s objectives
  • Identifying poor performing business areas or campaigns, the possible causes and proposing potential solutions
  • Analyse how re-allocation of budgets per acquisition channels can affect the overall marketing results
  • Assist and support the conversions through the monitoring of website analytics, user journeys and conversion metrics
  • Understand and evaluate the transactional data and how it ties back to certain user types and campaigns
  • Conduct regular audits on the site to identify conversion opportunities
  • Understanding the conversion funnel, its different visitor types and their intentions
  • Optimization of new and existing digital deals
  • Full understanding of placements and user journeys

Key Skills and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification
  • 2 years+ experience in a similar role with digital focus
  • Understanding of Marketing Mix Modelling and Multi-Touch Attribution Marketing
  • An understanding of how CPA, CPC, and CPM work in marketing campaigns
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Data Literate and experience of working with and manipulating big datasets
  • A proven Marketer, deeply familiar with the tools and techniques of digital marketing
  • Exceptional knowledge of digital analytics using Google, Adobe or similar digital analytics solutions
  • Experience with online testing platforms such as Optimizely, Sitespec, Maxymiser
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to manage multiple streams of activity
  • Good understanding of consumer and web trends, and the range of digital routes to market
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to think on your feet are essential
  • A collaborative team player with a proactive work style
  • Confident enough to work without a high level of supervision
