Purpose of role

  

As an Apprenticeship Lead, you’ll partner with our Retail and Stadia networks to understand their training needs and advise how apprenticeships can support new hires and existing colleagues’ development.

  

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Partnering with L&DBPs and HRBPs to promote apprenticeships as a learning and development intervention for colleagues based in England
  • Main employer contact externally to training providers and tackling escalations of issues when required
  • Maintaining existing training provider relationships and engaging with new providers as and when needed, ensuring delivery is aligned to our learning experience standards
  • Ensuring the correct endorsements for learners are in place and providing ongoing support and guidance
  • Run regular check-in’s with learners across the retail and Stadia estate in England
  • Supporting managers to identify issues and celebrate successes
  • Confident in navigating and managing the online government digital account to open cohorts and manage learners
  • Reporting on apprenticeship learning ROI, working with HRIS and other internal teams to gauge impact on retention, engagement and other relevant measures
  • Maintaining up to date information on the company intranet and GVCApprenticeships.com whilst partnering with Internal Communications around specific campaigns and awareness drives
  • Use your expertise to bring fresh thinking to our apprenticeship strategy


Candidate Requirements 

  

  • Demonstrable experience of apprenticeships and the apprenticeship levy 
  • Proven experience in managing high volume apprenticeships and training provider partnerships
  • Able to juggle and maintain focus on multiple standards, learners, suppliers and start dates
  • Able to adapt personal style to build trust and influence with stakeholders
