About The Role

Role Purpose and Key Responsibilities:

The key purpose of this role is to assist the Head of Strategy and Operations to deliver the Procurement technology integration across the GVC Group

1. Creating a compliant functional Procurement technology stack (with necessary policy, processes and tools) and, 2. design and execute Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Portal & RFx.

 

This will specifically include:

Programme design Procurement Technology Management:

  1. Review, assess, design and execute the Procurement technology integration including definition of milestones, deliverables, sequence, owners, due dates, etc.
  2. Amend and own the programme plan, keeping it updated as required.
  3. Risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies management.
  4. Tracking and reporting of progress as agreed with Head of Strategy and Operations.

     

  5. Subject matter expertise:
  6. Procurement Technology integration across Spend Analytics/ERP/P2P/Supplier Relationship Management
  7. Supplier management framework update, to include all post-contract activity (in conjunction with Head of Strategy and Operations).
  8. Process design; end to end.
  9. Building playbook for all processes and procedures
  10. Prioritisation and risk assessment of managing to plan
  11. Comprehensive end to end KPIs, management reporting with the appropriate cadence and rigour 

     

  12. Execution:
  13. Review, plan and build out a cohesive technology Procurement Strategy to integrate existing platforms into a seamless technology stack – Spendency, Fusion, CDB
  14.  Review and assess how to implement Supplier Portal for self serve and registration of new Suppliers with appropriate cadence and rigour and execute
  15.  Review and assess how to implement RFx tool and execute
  16.  Review and assess how to implement SRM tool and execute
     

     

  17. Working with other teams and functions to ensure the successful delivery of the defined scope 

     

  18. Transition to BAU 
 

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

  • Graduate calibre with Bachelor’s degree in Business/technology/commercial(or other related degree).
  • Post-graduate qualification (e.g. MSc/MBA) or a professional qualification such as MCIPS is desirable but not essential.
  • Project management qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Technically and commercially astute.

Specialist Skills and Experience Required

  • Excellent knowledge of ERP/P2P framework/Procurement technologies .
  • Experience shaping procurement / supplier management policies, frameworks and processes.
  • Experience implementing procurement-related change in complex environment.
  • Experience writing and delivering change management deliverables, notably, communications plan, stakeholder journey maps.
  • Experience working with other functions and matrix management.
  • Project Management qualification desirable but not essential.
