Purpose of Role: 

Responsible for supporting the Payments team in the maintenance of the payments portfolio including contract management, commercial negotiations, provider onboarding and management of relationships with external Payment Providers. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Support the Payments Team in the development of business cases for new payment providers.
• Support the on-boarding/Compliance process with new providers ensuring all documentation is provided in a timely manner.
• Liaise with the Product team to ensure commercials and contracts are aligned with product integration timelines.
• Liaise with external Payment Providers on a regular basis to ensure we are utilising all features and enhancements to deliver a high performance payment environment. 
• Day-to-day management and maintenance of provider accounts including user access, adding new services or removing blacklisted options (currencies, banks, countries), responding to queries and solving any issues.
• Daily monitoring of payment options to ensure performance is maintained and any issues can be flagged immediately.
• Monthly payment reporting to provide insight on payment performance for the senior team,
• Working with Treasury and Finance to ensure the necessary bank accounts and currencies are in place and any funding issues are managed efficiently.

• Building of successful relationships throughout the company across all functions and jurisdictions, persuasion and influencing of others to negotiate solutions, communicate complex information to all levels across the business.
• Ability to clearly communication scope and timelines of one’s products and features, set expectations, deliver possibly difficult messages to colleagues and the business, without being impacted by any political influence.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:
• Understanding of online payments and the payments industry as a whole. 
• Experience of working on multiple projects and with tight deadlines.
• Good communication, organizational, teamwork, interpersonal skills and multi-cultural diversity are essential
• Data-driven and detail-orientated with good analytical, problem-solving skills
• Ability to present business and technical issues (small or large audiences), ideas, and recommendations clearly in verbal, written and presentation formats 
• Proven ability to work effectively with international, cross-functional teams and to internalize new processes and developments in a highly dynamic industry
• Basic project management skills
• Good understanding of other functional areas in the business such as finance, marketing, legal, sales.
• Bachelor or MBA degree

• Knowledge of card acquiring preferably in the area of e-commerce and understanding of payments aggregation.
• Technical experience with an understanding of client, web technologies and other channels.
• Functional specification development in different tools (Word, Visio,…)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint and project
• Online/Offline payments industry experience
