About The Role

Are you passionate about capturing & understanding online consumer behaviour data? GVC is looking for a smart, consultative, passionate, data & tech savvy individual to form a vital part of the Digital team. Your role as a Digital Analyst will involve delivering insights and recommendations across the casino vertical, improving and evangelising optimization of products based on the data captured.

As an expert in Digital Analytics, you will support business owners with robust data allowing them to deliver on their data driven strategy. This job is for you if you bring a rare blend of analytical, technical and creativity skills given it is important to support the growing needs of an evolving data driven business.

Additional Information
  • Analyse the performance of the casino products across multiple websites, introduce KPIs and benchmarks to accurately monitor efficiency of the initiatives
  • Work with the casino teams to identify areas of improvement and address them accordingly
  • Feed ideas and requirements into casino teams to improve rigour in our measurement approach and execution
  • Overall responsibility for delivery of web analysis from setting up tracking requirements, in-project optimization through to final analysis post project reporting
  • Responsible to drive the learning agenda for a data driven casino vertical.
  • Build a hypothesis and testing roadmap for the vertical based on data insights, guide personalisation strategy
  • Understanding of business, products and various structures to influence and guide casino investment decisions
  • At least 3 years’ experience in web & digital marketing analytics
  • Expertise in web analytics packages (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics 360)
  • Fluent in visualisation tools such as Tableau, Data Studio
  • Experience with using SQL to extract, manipulate and analyse data (Big Query and Teradata environment)
  • Understanding how digital data is captured (tagging, GTM, debugging) and having A/B test knowledge would be advantageous
  • Preference for online gaming/e-commerce experience
  • Strong communication skills, to work well across functions and present findings across the business
  • Ability to gather and scope requirements for a variety of analytical projects
  • The ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and peers
  • Analytical at heart, naturally curious, comfortable with different data sets and keen to find true answers and understand performance drivers.
  • A strategic and big-picture thinker, grounded in analytics and optimisation, able to uncover strategic insights that can help create, shape and transform overall digital strategic direction.
