As part of the Customer Experience team, we are looking for a Programme Manager to lead and drive the governance framework and end-to-end delivery lifecycle of our a/b testing roadmap, executed across our portfolio of 20 brands. This programme of work enables the Product and Marketing teams to make data driven decisions that play a pivotal role in creating a seamless, consistent and engaging end-to-end consumer experience and enable business growth.

Key Responsibilitites
  • Managing the full delivery lifecycle across several projects simultaneously, ensuring effective coordination and a communication model which provides transparency and clarity for stakeholders
  • Control of the day to day project activities including creation and maintenance of quality and consistent project control artefacts
  • Delivering successful outcomes through good governance, ensuring all deviations, changes and risks are managed effectively through standardised and controlled procedures
  • Works together with the business teams to identify business opportunities and shape the product vision and strategic roadmap
  • Creates and executes project delivery work packages, utilising best practice control measurements to manage and coordinate day to day activities
  • Establishes an effective organisation, communication and controls structure for each project, ensuring format is adaptable to fit environment
  • Identifies resources needed and assigns responsibilities within a virtual team environment
  • Setup of project artefacts (plans, communication framework etc)
  • Day-to-day project management activities; chairing calls, managing project controls and artefacts
  • Reviews deliverables including status reports and other project documents
  • Facilitates and guides the project team effectively, including business stakeholders
  • Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion
  • Minimizes exposure to risk on accountable projects
  • Sets and manages stakeholder expectations
  • Effectively communicates relevant project information to stakeholders
  • Complies with and effectively applies the GVC project management methodology and enforces project standards
  • Delivers engaging, informative, well-organised presentations
  • Manages the process of innovative change effectively
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions
Specialist skills and experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience successfully delivering projects in a digital technology business
  • Proven experience delivering medium to large projects within a project management role
  • Proven experience successfully delivering change projects in a digital technology business
  • The ability to understand and articulate what was delivered, as well as the business value driven through the change
  • Possess a working knowledge of IT infrastructures, including Hardware, Software, Interconnectivity and Networks, Virtual/Remote assets
  • Demonstrate a hands-on approach to problem solving, prioritisation and risk management
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, demonstrating a holistic business view
  • Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and ensures buy-in from stakeholders on the benefit of good governance
  • Confident and experienced in presenting project updates to executive stakeholders
  • Strong documentation skills ensuring all relatable information is clear, concise and up to date
  • Managing virtual teams, where we may need to pull resource from different teams to create “virtual project teams”
  • Knowledge of gaming operational practices, regulatory considerations, betting & gaming products & technology, is advantageous for the role
  • Previous experience managing a portfolio of a/b tests is advantageous
