About The Role

Main purpose

Responsible for delivering best in class Slots Product for all markets and brands, including management of relationships with internal studios and 3rd party content partners, and working with key internal teams (marketing, commercial, UX/UI etc.) to drive localization & optimise performance.

Lead on defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Slots & Slots Product. Will be expected to lead and work in the detail of specific product requirements.

Executes a product and operations strategy that will ensure our Slots products are the best in the industry and driving sustainable revenue growth.

Working with the wider Gaming Product Team, the individual will develop further relationships across the business to help deliver the overall Slots proposition, while always supporting group performance targets.

Key responsibilities 

Work across the organisation to deliver the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Slots & Slots Products, championing and driving standards of Customer Experience and value to customers.

Work with technology teams to deliver an industry leading product offering, ensure quality, effective and timely product delivery, and understand and leverage technology to deliver outstanding products.

Ensure product enhancements are accurately defined and meet the requirements of our development partners, both internally and externally.

Refine and deliver operational processes to support ensuring optimal product performance, including but not limited to game configurations for stakes, denominations, jackpots and promotions, and service interruption management.

Develop and grow key internal relationships, including team-working across other teams in the organisation to ensure successful delivery of product or group initiatives, including but not limited to Marketing, Commercial, Technical Delivery, PMO, Analytics, Customer Experience and Customer Service.

Work with P&L leaders for all brands in all regions – communicate new product features, actively market new features in cooperation with marketing teams, measure usage and work to continuously improve as necessary.

Keep aware of industry/product developments relating to digital entertainment and grow the awareness of the teams around you. Be an advocate for GVC adopting similar or related product enhancements as relevant.

Monitor and report on slots & slots product performance, ensuring any identified issues can be investigated in a timely fashion, and provide insight on performance to internal stakeholders to support a fully considered decision making process.

Work with internal studios and 3rd party content partners to regularly review and benchmark performance, and ensure we are utilising all features and enhancements to deliver the best customer experience.

Competencies and experience 
Significant online gaming industry experience at Manager level
Holds an enthusiasm for, and an in-depth working knowledge of, online Slot products and what factors are critical to success across a range of markets and customer types
Experience of leading/working in teams in a matrix set-up focused on delivery in a fast-paced environment with a large and diverse group of stakeholders
Demonstrable evidence of influencing at senior levels of an organization, the ability to get stakeholders buy-in to support product initiatives and strategies
Ability to communicate well with a range of stakeholders across our locations
Understands the internal and external environments, how this impacts strategy and the ability to swiftly adapt plans as appropriate
Ability to plan, develop and deliver business improvements in line with agreed business strategy
Ability to work on several different activity streams concurrently
Has a passion for delivering the best product to our customers but will equally understand the business processes, with a strong eye for detail and a flair for communicating ideas and potential solutions to the team and stakeholders
Technical experience with an understanding of client, web technologies and other channels
Functional specification development in different tools (Word, Visio,…)
Offline gaming industry experience
