GVC is a leading Betting and Gaming Business in the UK and are looking to recruit a passionate and energetic person to the role of Coral Gaming Promotions Manager. The prime responsibilities of this position are to manage the promotional strategy, promotional campaigns, delivery and execution of the Coral Gaming Customer Proposition to maximise retention.

The role reports to the Head of Propositions & Promotions.

The Coral Gaming Promotions Manager will work closely with the Coral Gaming Operations and Commercial teams, as well as stakeholders in the Centre Of Excellence, to build & execute promotions an integrated to the overall Gaming Promotions Plan and Campaigns.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Gaming Product & Promotions, a clear understanding of the UK Sports ‘Betting and Gaming’ Customer and the competitive landscape for UK Sports Gaming Brands, coupled with fantastic communication skills and excellent organizational & planning skills. 

Key Responsibilities
Develop the Coral Gaming Promotions Strategy in line with Brand strategy and directly delivering to the Brand Framework pillars.
Promotional Planning and Management for Coral Gaming Core Customers, including Core Propositions, Retention Programme and Campaigns, targeted Below the line offers, & support for Xsell and Hi-Core plans.
Conceive, develop and execute new promotions, working with Gaming Commercial Managers and Product owners and the Brand Marketing team to develop market leading propositions that align and deliver to the Brand positioning. 
Work closely with BI & Product Owners to develop campaigns to deliver against the Gaming Core Retention KPIs.
Manage performance of Core Propositions against planned KPIs, ensuring that all promotions are profitable.
Co-ordinate the promotional plans across all stakeholders, including CRM, Performance Marketing & Customer Service; Collaborate to ensure core propositions are being addressed within Retention and Acquisition initiatives.
Collate and present the pack for the Coral Weekly Trading Meeting.
This role is accountable for the management of the Coral Core bonus spend, ensuring all bonus spend is efficiently managed to retain, grow and deliver ROI
Work closely with BI to understand Core Retention behaviours and measure effectiveness of initiatives, using insight to evolve propositions.
Ensure adherence to Compliance requirements for all Promotions activity
Manage a team of 4 x Promotional executives; encourage and support consistent execution and delivery of promotional activity and be responsible for their personal development, involvement and growth within the Gaming team.
Monitor the market and ensure that the brands are always competitive in all areas of Core Customer Retention, reporting on competitor proposition and experience and informing requirements based on the acquired insights.
Ensure there is clear brand differentiation between the Ladbrokes and Coral plans approach whilst not missing out on key shared opportunities
Customer focus. Relentless focus on improving all areas of the brand experience for customers, providing insight to all stakeholders to evolve High Core.

Specialist skills and experience
Previous experience working within a Gaming business at a manager level and a keen understanding of the marketplace and competitor landscape is required.
Marketing and promotional experience across multiple products and brands preferably at a customer level.
Possess good business development skills and have the ability to develop strong commercial relationships, working closely with numerous stakeholders to deliver the promotional strategy
Self-sufficient, proactive and innovative thinker who can bring fresh ideas to the table
Strong understanding of the attraction and principles of gaming.
Strong understanding of the customer facing side of the business.
Strong customer and financial analytical skills with the ability to leverage them effectively; experience of working closely with partners in BI/Finance to develop analytical tools and processes to optimise bonus expenditure and return
Experience of working across and within a large organisation with a matrix of operational teams and deliver to business goals
Experience of managing and optimising bonus budgets within a tight ROI framework; experience of managing substantial cost and profit budgets an advantage
Demonstrated ability to coordinate plans across functional teams
Strong teamwork, co-ordination, planning and influencing skills
