Gala and Foxy Brands are leading Bingo and Gaming Brands in the UK and are looking to strengthen its Gaming team by introducing the role of Product Marketing Manager. The prime responsibility of this position is managing the Product Roadmap and Release Plans for all 6 brands.

The role reports to the Head of Gaming Operations but will also be part of the Group Product Marketing function.

The role will be responsible for ensuring that the brands have the necessary Product Development to achieve commercial objectives whilst maintaining clear brand differentiation. This role will be the main liaison point with GVC Product; working in close collaboration with Gaming Brands Product owners to develop experiences/feature to solve business challenges; producing Business & User Cases; raising Product Requests. The roles will have accountability in ensuring that Product Releases and Features are fully monetised.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of Gaming Product, a clear understanding of the UK ‘Bingo and Softer Gaming’ Customer and the competitive landscape for UK Bingo Brands coupled with the commercial acumen and excellent organizational & planning skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate the Strategy and Commercial objectives of the brands into a clear list of Product Priorities to form the Gaming Product Roadmap.
  • Collaborate closely with Gaming Brand Team stakeholders to understand business needs & requirements.
  • Provide Business and User cases with detailed requirements.
  • Work closely with GVC Product and LC Centres of Excellence to coordinate delivery.
  • Manage Product to market, working in cooperation with Brand & GVC Product stakeholders, ensuring that releases happen smoothly and are fully coordinated across departments.
  • Own the Gaming Brands Product Release process ensuring all key stakeholders are informed within appropriate timescales to deliver full deployment & marketing plans around the releases.
  • Work closely with BI, analytics and finance to ensure forecasts are in place and release performance is reviewed and learnings taken.
  • Develop a clear internal product priority and scoring process before submission to GVC global prioritisation process.
  • Ensure there is clear brand differentiation between the Gaming Brands product plans approach whilst not missing out on key shared features
  • Collaborate and work closely with all key stakeholders to deliver project. Share learnings and best practices through Product Marketing function and across the global GVC business
  • Monitor the market and ensure that the brands are always competitive at a product & product marketing level, reporting on competitor releases and informing requirements based on the acquired insights.
  • Customer focus. Relentless focus on improving user experience by optimizing journeys and usability of the supplier facing products and internal free spins/tournaments and leaderboards.
  • Deliver revenue growth. This is a commercial role and the expectation is that the right candidate will be able to improve NGR and EBITA through making the right commercial decisions. Accurate business cases, analysis, and cost benefit analysis are the keys.
  • Drive efficiency. Determine where product improvements, either in-house of third party can improve operational efficiency.
  • Drive innovation. We are market leaders and we aim to set the bar for the competition. Look outside the industry to see how we can provide the best user experience across web, mobile, and apps
  • Understand the business. Continual trend and KPI monitoring for brands to understand the business and the levers to it

Specialist skills and experience:

  • Min 3 years’ experience in a commercial, marketing, or product role in a gaming company. Having experience across more than one area is desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams
  • An ability to think strategically and develop a real understanding of stakeholder needs
  • Excellent knowledge of the Bingo, Slots, Table RNG and Live Casino landscape
  • Personable character and an exceptional communicator - ability to communicate at the highest level both written and verbal
  • Self-driven, and ability to work independently and at pace in a dynamic organization
  • Strong teamwork, co-ordination, planning and influencing skills
  • Good attention to detail, an ability to assimilate, sort and aggregate complex information quickly
  • Creative thinking backed by strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent stakeholder management
