This role is a pivotal part of the Internal Creative Agency and helps us to build our creative delivery and project management capabilities across the group working alongside some of the best technologists and marketeers in the industry. You will be providing leadership to the project management within your brand responsibility and ensuring delivery of both creative projects and BAU for marketing campaigns; ensuring they are executed to the highest standards across a variety of mediums and channels. You will lead from the front, assisting in the development of best practice processes and ways of working with both the creatives and our marketing teams to push the boundaries above and beyond current industry standards whilst ensuring best practice and brand is adhered to and deadlines and budgets are met. You will partner the Ladbrokes Marketing Team and will become immersed in the brand values and strategy, becoming the Ladbrokes’s representative within the agency.

You will strive daily to identify opportunities where the business can innovate, optimise process and ways of working, and improve marketing communications to drive the brands strategic objectives.

You will work closely with the Studio Manager, Global Head of Creative Operations and Global Head of Creative to ensure your team is delivering to the highest standard and will report weekly on any risks or opportunities within projects.

You will work closely alongside the Ladbrokes Design and Copy Leads as a lynchpin member of the Brand Guardianship to ensure strategic knowledge of your Ladbrokes and development of close partnership with the Ladbrokes Marketing Team.

You’ll work closely with our creative partners to deliver on key creative campaigns and ensure they meet the high standards of the Group and deliver against business objectives and deadlines.

Best practice delivery and project management is your passion and you will be a key partner to both our creatives and the Ladbrokes Marketing Team, helping deliver against the creative vision whilst remaining pragmatic to marketing objectives and have a good commercial understanding.

Key Responsibilities


  • Managing and directing a team of multi-skilled Production Executives in the delivery of projects within your brand responsibilities.
  • Working alongside the Studio Manager to assist in the policing, implementation and development of the agency’s delivery approach, its resourcing, implementation, establishment and iteration.
  • Driving up and then maintaining quality standards across the delivery and production of all work in collaboration with the Studio Manager and Global Head of Creative.
  • Write detailed briefs, ensuring holistic channel approach and needs are included
  • Work with the Studio Manager and Global Head of Creative Operations to identify and develop training and development opportunities that actively help our existing delivery people develop their skills and increase competitive advantage; mentor and coach as required.
  • Set objectives, manage and monitor the development of your team.
  • Manage and motivate project teams to help troubleshoot across all projects, always leading by example.
  • Provide timely, accurate and relevant reporting to the Studio Manager across your team’s projects as agreed.
  • Encourage and facilitate collaboration both across the wider delivery team and Group as a whole.
  • Proactively work with the [brand] Marketing Team to bring projects into the agency by developing relationships and fostering trust with the marketing teams.
  • Work with the brand marketing team to improve the overall quality of briefing and delivery timelines
  • Ensure detailed project, implementation or actions plans are created for each project as appropriate.
  • Ensure projects have requirements documented and agreed to ensure that project activity meets agreed client objectives.
  • Ensure risks and issues are being recorded, monitored and proactively managed to minimise disruption to successful delivery.
  • Ensure the appropriate and relevant level of quality assurance and testing is in place for all projects.
  • Place projects and pitches that fall within and outside of allocated workloads.
  • Chair and own weekly status meetings with both the [brand] Marketing Team and key agency stakeholders ensuring that project statuses, risks and onboarding processes are detailed and communicated clearly.
  • Travel to the regions for learning and collaboration opportunities.
  • Work with 3rd Party agencies on brands and campaigns.
  • Support and advise on corporate/employee branding projects.
Specialist skills and experience


  • Related experience at a relevant level of delivery in agency or corporate setting.
  • Long term experience delivering campaigns across channels.
  • A thought leader able to influence the development of a first-class delivery service and supporting the pragmatic delivery of client and agency projects.
  • Able to juggle different projects/priorities and deliver high quality outcomes under pressure.
  • Some experience of managing teams.
  • Personable, working effectively with a variety of different people; you encourage and positively influence people to join you on your journey.
  • A good negotiator and always financially in control.
  • Able to work across a variety of production processes and aware of their technological requirements.
