Milan Milan

Milan, Italy

Stylish, sophisticated and cultured, Milan is the second most populated city in Italy, awash with amazing restaurants, museums, and buildings.

Home to the iconic San Siro stadium shared by AC Milan and Internazionale, Milan is a passionate sporting city and loves its fashion just as much.

Home to Italy’s stock exchange, Milan is the country’s industrial and financial heart. Banks, media companies, fashion houses and technology companies have a high profile presence here, and its multicultural population makes the city a wonderfully diverse and stimulating place to be.

“In Milan, everything is regulated by money. They say “cappuccio” in bars instead of “cappuccino” to save a syllable.”

Life + Work in Milan

Small but cosy, friendly and welcoming, and in a green space immersed in green, next to the City Life District, our Milan office is easily reachable by public transport, walking or cycling.

Our main meeting room is named Football, due to the iconic San Siro Stadium nearby, and it’s a winter garden surrounded by vegetation. At the first floor there’s a peaceful terrace for chilling out and chatting with friends. Fresh fruits and free coffee keep everyone healthy and full of energy. Nearby there are lots of choices for great food, whether you fancy good restaurants, a bar or just grabbing something at the supermarket around the corner. Milan is always buzzing and it’s an easy lifestyle to fall in love with.

Etiquette

Italy is a fun place to live and work but good manners are expected.

Shake hands with strangers and only use first names if you’re invited to.

Give a kiss on each cheek to greet friends, and if you’re a guest in a Milanese home, dress smartly to make a good first impression.

Don’t start eating before your host, and your dress needs to be modest if visiting Milan’s religious landmarks and buildings.

Entertainment

Opera fans flock to Teatro all Scala, one of the most famous opera houses in the world, while jazz lovers head for Blue Note, the companion to the famous New York club of the same name.

Santeria Social Club is a brilliant DJ and gig venue, and for art aficionados the Fondazione Prada gallery is a must. If you’re looking for drama there’s always plenty to be seen at the San Siro stadium when Inter or AC Milan play football.

Aperitvo is the best part of the day in Milan; a happy hour, or two, when drinks come served with a mouth-watering range of small dishes to share ad enjoy with friends. It’s a tradition that happens all across Italy, with friends and work colleagues sharing a drink and a bite to eat after a busy day. What’s not to like?
