Hosting some of our most recognisable brands, such as bwin, Sportingbet, Party Poker, Party Casino, and Foxy Bingo, we love London.
It’s without doubt one of the most incredible cities in the world to live and work in. There’s truly something for everyone – from history and culture to fine food and good times. With 2,000 years of history, the ‘Big Smoke’ is deeply cosmopolitan, diverse and exotic.
London’s influence reaches all four corners of the globe. It sets trends, drives business investment, growth and innovation, hosts millions of tourists each year, and has more than 300 languages spoken across its population. Everyone needs to experience London.
Life + Work in United Kingdom
Our London offices are based in St. Pauls with stunning views of the cathedral, Stratford and Here East in the Olympic Park.
Transportation is key and with the Overground, Underground and buses to choose from, the office is pretty much accessible from anywhere in and around London.
The London office is located in One New Change, with access to lots of shops and plenty of places to eat at lunch. Inside our state of the art office, we have three kitchens, breakout areas and some funky meeting rooms. We also provide a variety of fruit, coffee and tea, and every Friday there’s a local market with a variety of delicious food and artisan crafts.
Despite being a cosmopolitan mix of people, Londoners don’t talk to strangers, unless its asking for directions or apologising for something!
And queuing is a great British pastime, so be sure not to try to jump in, it’s seriously frowned upon if you try to beat a queue.
Be prepared for crowded Tube trains at rush hour, and instead use a map as it could be quicker to walk to your destination rather than taking the train. And when you’re using the escalators to and from platforms, stand on the right hand side or walk up the escalator on the left. That’s a golden rule right there.
The world’s biggest bands, actors, comedians and artists all hit London regularly, there is simply no shortage of things to choose from.
West End shows are a must and the theatre land streets are entertainment in themselves. There’s amazing jazz clubs, iconic rock music venues, galleries to suit every taste and comedy clubs galore. It’s impossible not to be entertained in London.
Camden Market continues to be a feast for the senses, go on a Sunday and find a bargain. And for food and drink, a quick Google search will give you more options than you could ever imagine. Chinatown is particularly well worth a culinary visit, and Borough Market will see you lost in a huge variety of amazing artisan, multi-cultural and local produce. Unmissable.
